What we are for

African culture is not hard to find because there is too little of it. It is hard to find because it is scattered — an event on one platform, the artist on another, the place to stay somewhere else entirely, and nothing joining them up. TourAfrikA exists to put those in one place, and to send real attention and real demand back to the people who make the work.

People looking for something to do — what is on, who is playing, where to go, and how to get to it.
Artists, who get a profile they control, an audience that can follow them, and a place to publish work.
Organizers and experience providers, who get listings that are actually discovered rather than buried.

What we hold ourselves to

Artists keep what they make. Publishing here grants us the right to show your work, not to own it. Delete it and the licence ends. That is written into our terms, not just stated here.
Paid placement is always labelled. Promoted listings say so. Ranking is by relevance, never by who paid more.
No surveillance business. No cookies, no third-party trackers, no selling personal data. We measure what happens on our own platform to make discovery work, and that is the extent of it — see our privacy policy.
You can leave. Deleting your account deletes what belongs to you, immediately, from the account page.

Who We Are

TourAfrikA started with one traveller from Accra: Kwadwo Osei

I travel often. I love discovering nightlife, festivals, live music, cultural experiences, and these places you rarely find in a postcard. My soundtrack is highlife and reggae, and many of the best experiences I have had came from simply knowing what was happening locally.

But planning those experiences was often harder than it needed to be.

Information was scattered across different websites, social media pages, event platforms, and booking services. Finding out what was happening, who was performing, where it was, and how to get a ticket or somewhere to stay could take hours. Sometimes, I found the right information only after it was too late to make plans.

That experience led to TourAfrikA.

TourAfrikA brings African culture, events, destinations, nightlife, and local experiences into one place, starting with Ghana. We help you discover what is happening, learn more about the people and places behind it, and find the right partner to make your plans.

We believe trust matters. That is why listings are presented with clear information about the event, experience, organiser, or ticket provider wherever available. When a ticket or travel booking is handled by another company, we direct you to that partner rather than pretending the transaction happens on TourAfrikA.

TourAfrikA does not sell tickets or take travel bookings itself. We are here to make discovery easier, information clearer, and planning possible before you arrive.
